Interrogating the Bagendon landscape 2017

A short season of fieldwork was conducted in the summer of 2017 to examine the landscape context of our previous discoveries. Through augering, test-pitting and a small section through one of the previously un-examined earthworks we are getting a better sense of the type of landscape the Late Iron Age occupation was situated in.
